TRI MODE OPERATION

ETS offers an economical package for conversion of your existing

single-mode white searchlight to tri-mode operation. This conversion

adds a powerful infrared lamp to the housing, allowing ‘lights out’

operation with the use of night-vision goggles, while keeping the

full white-light search capability and landing modes.

Aircraft modification requires only the replacement of the existing

searchlight power switch with a 3-position (A-OFF-B) switch, and the

addition of a second power wire from the searchlight to the switch

to supply power for the IR lamp.
